The Knee Jerks

Greg Eno and I celebrated the 1st anniversary of The Knee Jerks podcast Monday night with a 120 minute spectacular. We had several special guests who returned to the scene of the crime, so to speak. Having so many guests on the show had a chance of turning into a train wreck, but save for a couple of glitches, we think it turned out quite well!

I'd like to thank Jamie Samuelsen, Jim Brandstatter, Jack McCloskey, Ray Scott, Bill Ferris, Matt Hutter, Paul Swaney, Ed Cmar and Mark Willoughby for taking the time from their busy schedules to make return appearances on our little podcast. From Brandstatter ragging on Jamie, Trader Jack and Ray regaling us with stories of the old NBA, to all the bloggers talking about the latest and greatest, it was one Hell of a lot of fun for the two of us!

I'd also like to thank all the listeners and guests we've had on the podcast over the past year. We started podcasting as a lark, just 2 guys talking Detroit sports for an hour...plus a podcast was easier to do instead of marathon web chats, otherwise known as The Knee Jerks v1.0.

Eno and I don't make any cash off of the podcast, and it does take a time commitment that is sometimes hard to make. But it's always been a ton of fun for us, and I hope that comes across on the show.

I'm warning you now, for better or worse, we don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Thanks for listening!

Next Monday being Memorial Day, Eno and I are taking the evening off. The Knee Jerks will be back on June 7th, as long as I'm feeling up to it after my back surgery on the 4th.
