Former Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck, who was the wet dream of many a Lions fan as the solution to the Buick deuce and a quarter sized hole at outside linebacker, has signed...but it's not with the Lions.

Via ESPN New York:

Free-agent linebacker Keith Bulluck officially joined the New York Giants on Saturday, after nailing a private workout last Monday in the oppressive Meadowlands heat.

PFT says Bulluck can make up to $2.5M this season. Not that I really care as Bulluck isn't being paid by Detroit.

So who replaces the traded Ernie Sims on the outside? Zack Follett? Landon Johnson? A player not currently on the roster? That drunk guy on the corner stool at your local watering hole? You ? Me?

I have no idea.

I don't think the Lions know either.

It's been obvious for quite some time Bulluck signing with the Lions wasn't in the cards. Not even the idea of playing for Jim Schwartz interested Bulluck.

It takes two to tango. In this case, only the Lions were on the dance floor.
