I'm seeing the usual New Years resolution posts around the internets while I'm trying to multi-task today.

New Years Day multi-tasking at TWFE HQ
Coming up with resolutions is a media evergreen, a piece you see every year, from every media entity, at this time of year.
Your typical evergreen resolution article in regard to the Lions is John Niyo's at the Detroit News. It has your expected resolutions, like playing better on Thanksgiving, making a splash in free agency, find a backup quarterback and remaining healthy. It's worth your time to read, but...
There's always a but, right?
But...knowing how hard it is to keep New Years resolutions, 10 seems a bit much, especially for a bottom feeder like the Lions.
My New Years resolution list for the Lions is as follows
1. Win more than you lose.
2. See number one.
It that too much to ask?
Keep it short and simple, easy to remember. There's no reason to muck up the minds of the feeble Lions with multiple resolutions when one is going to be hard enough to keep. Win more games than you lose, and all the other things will take care of themselves.
You know, if the Lions actually follow my resolution, "Win more than you lose" could become the next "Just win, baby!"
Hey, it could happen! Now to see if I can get a copyright on it...
Speaking of resolutions, what of me, you ask? My resolutions for 2010? I follow the Tao of Calvin...

God damn straight!
The Lions definitely need to change. Me? What Calvin said...| < Prev |
