My latest at Mlive has been posted at It's Just Sports. I quote Neil Young and ponder what just might turn out to be the worst spring in Detroit sports in recent memory.
The Knee Jerks had a return visit from Paul Swaney of StadiumJourney.com, which is wants to be your go to site for reviews of pro and college sports stadiums and arenas. His Quixotic quest to visit every pro sports arena and stadium in one calender year has taken a back seat to getting StadiumJourney.com off the ground.
After the interview, Greg Eno and I ran the gamut. Dead lugers, the evil that is the IOC and the Winter Olympics, the NBA's weak ass sauce known as All-Star Weekend, the waste of time that is watching basketball in a football stadium, the Pistons playing out the string and the almost guaranteed likelihood of zip happening at the trade deadline, Gunther Cunningham continuing to channel Abe Simpson, lament the Johnny Damon to the Tigers non-story is still a story, and an inanimate object is named the Jerk of the Week!
