Long-time reader and good friend of TWFE, the commenter you know as Wolverlion, does a gay little radio show (his words, not mine!) every Friday and Monday morning. It's called the Hillbilly Huddle, and he hosts the show with Wild Bill Lewis on the blowtorch of SW MI, 97.5 Y-Country radio, WYTZ FM.
Wolverlion picks the weekend's games on Friday, and goes head-to-head with a listener who can win a prize package if he beats Wolverlion. 2 weeks in, no winners. Pretty good prognostication, if I say so myself.
Wolverlion was kind enough to ask if he could pimp TWFE on Monday's show, and not being one to turn down any sort of publicity, even from a gay little show (his words, not mine!), I said, "Hells yeah!" But I asked to see his picks for the weekend, so I could post then here at my gay little blog. (his words, not...oh, wait...)
So, without further ado, may I introduce...
"Wolverlion's Locks of the Week!"
- Washington over the beloved Lions
- Green Bay over St Louis
- Minny over San Fran
- N.E. over Atlanta
- Jets over Tenn
- Philly over K.C.
- N.Y.Giants over Tampa
- Baltimore over Cleveland
- Houston over Jax
- N.O, over Buffalo
- Seattle over Chicago
- San Diego over the Fins
- Pitt over Cincy
- Oakland over Denver
- Arizona over Indy
There's some interesting picks, such as 'Zona over Indy (Manning is going to beat Warner) and Seattle beating Da Bears (I like the Bears, mostly due to having Jay Cutler as my FF QB, and I need a big game from him). Personally, I'd also take Atlanta over the Pats. I do agree the Lions are not going to beat the 'Skins. We'll be bitching up a storm over 20 losses in a row at this time tomorrow.
97.5 Y-Country has a live stream, so we can all tune in Monday to hear Blane, aka Wolverlion, give TWFE a shout out, and just how his picks for the week pan out against his listener. I hope I can make this into some kind of running bit here on TWFE as well.
