TWFE's Magic 8 Ball answers, "Outlook not so good." We Lions fans are now behind the proverbial 8-ball.
The Lions need to sell more than 10,000 tickets for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins to avoid a league-mandated television blackout.
10K short? The NFL won't even bother to grant the 24 hour extension. Waste of time and energy. If you want to watch, like myself, you'll need to find a web stream of questionable quality and legality
I'd venture a guess the Lions won't come close to selling out another game till Thanksgiving. Thanks for nothing, money-grubbing, short-sighted, fan unfriendly NFL!
The No Fun League can take their archaic blackout rules and choke on them...though they'd probably find a way to make money off of it.
