The Lions continue their is he, or is he not, seriously injured gaming with the press in regard to Matthew Stafford, as they trotted their franchise quarterback out for practice today.

Matthew Stafford is still a question mark after practice
From what he saw in the 30 minutes of open practice, Killer Kowalski was not impressed over at Mlive:
During his reps today, Stafford had mobility, but didn't look totally comfortable or fluid.
Not quite the confidence inspiring report I wanted to hear. Not that I expected glowing reports, but one can hope, right?
Killer did add a caveat, though...
Stafford's status for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams won't be better known until Wednesday when team officials will see if there's any swelling in Stafford's knee. If there's swelling, Stafford will likely be out for Sunday's game.
My gut feeling is Stafford is out for Sunday, and will remain out for quite some time. Others are stating the same, such as...
PFT, via Chris Mortensen at the 4 Letter, tells us we won't see Detroit's golden child under center anytime soon:
The Lions plan to proceed conservatively with Stafford's kneecap subluxation, in the hopes that he'll be able to play later in the year.
Considering what's at stake, as the Lions may just have on their grubby little hands the quarterback they've desperately needed for DECADES, this seems like a prudent course of action on their part. Treat the knee injury with kid gloves, and don't bring Stafford back until he's 100%.
In other injury news, and there's been lots of it, the must read Twitter feed of the Detroit News' Lions beat guy John Niyo has the scoop...
First, Megatron:
C. Johnson did some running on side and stationary pass catching, but not full participant.
And the rest:
Back at practice today were S. Hill, D. White, Simpson, Sims, FitzSimmons and Morris. Culpepper looked limited as 3rd QB today.
Wait! There's more!
Still out are Hunter and Felton. Might be some shuffling on OL as well, but we'll see what they say after practice.
So here's where the Lions stand...on crutches.
Odds are Stafford is out, Culpepper is still gimpy (which could be good or bad depending upon who you'd rather see start, Culpepper or Drew Stanton...I'm a Stanton guy) Johnson is not yet healthy enough to go anywhere near full speed, and the starting FB and DE (Felton and Hunter) aren't practicing at all.
After seeing the massive amount of walking wounded, Sunday's Rams game is no longer a gimme...if any game could be considered a gimme for a 1 win team.
