As if Detroit's defense wasn't already lacking in talent, it's been weakened even more by the majority of the defensive line being dinged up, or worse. Not that the d-line is any great shakes anyway, but it sure would help to have all hands available for duty.
The along with the defense, the offense is gradually being crippled by injuries as well. No Stafford? No Megatron? Not exactly the recipe needed to end an 18 game road losing streak to the Packers. (Hard to believe there's an entire generation of fans who have NEVER seen the Lions win on the frozen tundra)
As always, in regard to injuries, we need to remember the Tao of Dalton. The cooler's cooler, who gave us such wisdom as, "There's always barber college..." And, of course...
"Pain don't hurt."
